Tom's attention to details is very thorough and this was evident with his delivery and execution of key timings for the Poi-e performance Pyro and the Cultural Challenge Pyro for the opening game in New Zealand, the Kiwi's v Samoa and for the Semi-Final cultural challenge Pyro, England v Tonga.

“I am writing on behalf of Auckland Transport to highlight the exceptional work that Tom Trubuhovich carried out in the ASB Showgrounds arena for our safe speed promotion at Big Boys Toys 2017 which 32,529 members of the public attended.  At this event Tom was our Project Manager overseeing six separate car drop displays from the top of a 60 metre high crane.  These very dramatic displays were a great demonstration to the crowds of the consequences of a 70 km/h head-on crash and driving at unsafe speeds.

Tom’s experience, guidance and diligence in managing a team of people pulled together with little notice made the event an ease throughout the weekend. Tom worked tirelessly paying special attention to the Health and Safety aspects as there were many hazards involved in what we were attempting to achieve.  The event was a huge success and talking point far beyond the Big Boys Toys weekend with our major stakeholders like NZ Police and many community groups working in the area of road safety.  This was also due to Tom’s creativity and attention to detail with suggestions of how to make the event more spectacular by introducing other elements such as flames to coincide with the car crash impact.  We managed to capture some spectacular footage by hiring a film crew which Tom also advised on since this is an area Tom is also experienced with, and thus, helped set up.

The odd issue occurred such as requiring Auckland Transport logos on a display car a few days before the show.  Nothing seemed to be a problem to Tom who calmly took this task in hand and through his network of contacts organised a company to create and attach stickers to the car at the show before the gates opened to the public.

The Major Events Team and I worked with Tom who provided the viewing platform Truck on Quay St for the Emirates Team New Zealand Welcome Home Parade.
Tom and the Teams quality of work, customer service and friendliness was exceptional. When Health and Safety is paramount at these events, Tom was able to demonstrate that he had a robust Health and Safety System in place and had considered control measures for any and all unforeseen potential hazards that may have risen from the pack in, during the live event and pack out.
Tom also provided a Site Placement Plan, Traffic Management Plan, Job Safety Analysis and Site Specific Safety Plan for the truck and the crane, working alongside and in consultation with the construction of the MSocial Hotel. This was a very special job to help us and the community celebrate an incredible achievement, not only did we get great feedback that the platform provided a fantastic vantage point for the public, we also received incredible feedback regarding the set up on Quay St and the exposure and TV Air Time the set up produced on all the Major TV Networks which was absolutely fantastic! It was an absolute pleasure working with Tom and his Team and we look forward to working with him again.
